Rita McGlone, dedicated daughter of the late Frank and Helen Taraborrelli, passed away peacefully at Penn Wissahickon Hospice on August 30, 2019. At age 92, she outlived her brothers and longtime family member Ada Rodbell. Rita lived with her daughter and her family for the last 6 years, but was always a proud South Philadelphia Italian. Matriarch of a large family, Rita was known for her deep connection to family and friends and her prowess in the kitchen.
He also did club dates in and around Philadelphia as well as stand-up comedy. Ron even appeared on the “Tonight Show” with Steve Allen doing a bit with the grungeaphone—his invention that combined the bass clarinet with a bassoon. Our staff is courteous and sympathetic.
